JOB TITLE: Team Leader, Environmental Services – Coble Creek Health Care

REPORTS TO: Environmental Services Director
POSITION TYPE: Full time position. Monday through Friday 1st shift.
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for accomplishing and maintaining the cleanliness of the Twin Lakes Center Health Care Facility, while leading the environmental services team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the team by example of work quality, efficiency and team work.
- Manage team schedule including PAL and call outs.
- Coach teammates in the moment with praise and areas for improvement.
- Manage supplies and notify Environmental Services Director when new supplies or changes to quantities, products and other areas are identified.
- Help administer evaluations noting strengths and challenges and helping teammates formulate measurable, meaningful goals.
- Communicate team successes and needed areas of support to Environmental Services Director.
- Identify opportunities and areas for improvement and encourage new ideas from your team.
- Provide general cleaning and sanitation, on a daily basis, of resident rooms and all common areas.
- As required provide services in the Laundry Department.
- May be required to work independently or aid others in the cleaning of other facilities or residences owned or operated by Twin Lakes Center.
- Reports all unusual conditions, behaviors, and/or resident complaints to the appropriate Management/Supervisory personnel in a timely manner.
- Responds and reacts in a kind, polite, and professional manner to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervision.
- Responsible for protecting any confidential information concerning residents, family, and/or the organization.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Must adhere to all facility and departmental Fire, Disaster, Threat, and Emergency procedures.
- Adheres to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures in the performance of position responsibilities.
- Must attend organizational and/or departmental training sessions and/or in-services as scheduled.
- May be required to perform other duties in keeping with the nature of this position which will not significantly alter the job requirements
- Demonstrate interest and commitment to work with a diverse senior population.
- Maintain and facilitate a caring, compassionate and understanding relationship with residents by answering all questions and concerns.
- Dress professionally an in accordance with the company’s dress code.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in cleaning and caring for a building preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting preferred.
- One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
